No. Only for the people who prepare and send documents. Everyone else joins free and sees the same projects, deadlines and documents you do. Teams are free. Invite anyone; they accept, join and immediately see every project, deadline and document on the team, and it costs nothing and does not change what they pay.

No. Reminder emails go to the person whose own plan includes them. If your superintendent needs LienShield to email him, he needs his own Pro or Premium plan. He can see every deadline in the app for free either way.

Yes. One plan, however many teams. A bookkeeper who works for three contractors joins all three and pays once, or nothing at all if she only needs to look. Joining a team never moves your subscription and never exposes your other teams to it.

Nothing is deleted. You keep access to everything already prepared and filed, and your team keeps seeing the projects. You just stop being able to create new documents beyond the Free allowance, and stop receiving reminder emails.

A document is any notice, lien, waiver, demand letter, bond claim or other filing LienShield prepares for you. It counts once, when it is created. Editing a draft, downloading the PDF again, or marking it sent or filed does not count again. The monthly document count resets on your own billing-cycle day: the day of the month your account was created.

Deadline tracking, projects and every document you have already created keep working, and so does your team's access to them. Creating a new document waits until your monthly count resets, or until you move to Pro or higher, which include unlimited documents. The count is yours: it does not follow you between teams and it is not shared with anyone.

Annual plans are charged once a year, upfront: Pro $180 and Premium $390. That works out to $15 a month and $32.50 a month, and saves $48 and $78 a year compared with paying monthly. Every plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

Yes. You change your own plan on this page or on the Billing page in LienShield, and before anything changes you see exactly what Stripe will charge or credit. Upgrades are prorated and charged right away, and take effect only once that payment succeeds. Moving to a smaller plan credits the unused time to your next invoice. Your plan is yours: changing it never affects a teammate, and nobody is ever removed from a team over billing.

Open Billing in LienShield and choose Cancel subscription. We show you the exact date your plan ends before you confirm, and email you a copy. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for; then you move to Free. Nothing is deleted — your projects, deadlines and documents stay available, and you stay on every team you belong to — and you can resume with one click any time before that date.

Stripe retries the card and we email you. Your plan stays active for 14 days after a payment first fails. After that you are limited to the Free plan until the payment goes through. Nothing is deleted, your teammates are unaffected, and the full plan comes back as soon as it is paid.

Yes. We refund your most recent payment if you ask within 14 days of it and no documents have been generated on the account in that billing period. Email support@lienshield.app; refunds are processed by hand. Section 3 of our Terms governs.

No. Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page. LienShield never sees or stores your card number.

Nothing, unless you choose to switch. Those plans are no longer sold, and existing subscriptions keep their price and limits; the Billing page shows them as Legacy. If you switch to a current plan, you can't switch back.

Pricing is per person, so a larger company buys a plan for each person who prepares and sends documents; everyone else joins their team for free. A supervisor who wants the reminder emails needs their own Pro. If you need terms that take a conversation, email support@lienshield.app.
